Who are we?
Queers for Kamala (Q4K) is a grassroots movement harnessing the power of the LGBTQ+ community to elect Kamala Harris the next President of the United States. Our community building and organizing work culminates with our signature party Brat Bus day trips from NYC to PA to canvass every weekend through November 5th.
The polls are in: the Presidential, Senate and key down-ballot races across Pennsylvania are tight...and PA could make or break the election for Kamala and Tim.
That’s why we are partnering with Knock for Democracy and Broadway for Harris on 10.5.24 and 10.12.24 to launch our signature Queers for Kamala Brat Bus day trips from NYC to PA!
Starting October 5th, we will bus you, your besties, and other queer folx and allies to PA to knock the highest-impact doors and turn out every single voter for Democrats up and down the ballot. That's not all: each bus will be headlined by beloved queer celebrities from Broadway to Hollywood to Nightlife to Comedy.

Kamala D. Harris is the 49th and first woman, Black and Asian-American Vice President of the United States. Harris has devoted her career to fighting "for the people" – from her barrier-breaking time as District Attorney of San Francisco and Attorney General of California, to proudly serving as a U.S. Senator. That includes being an outspoken supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, from refusing to defend Prop 8 and officiating the first gay marriages in California, to being the only sitting Vice President to march in a pride parade, to championing the Equality Act.

Kamala's running mate Tim Walz is Minnesota’s 41st Governor. As Governor, Walz has championed universal free school meals for students, signed reproductive freedom into law, strengthened voting rights, set the state on the path to 100% clean energy, cut taxes for the middle class, and expanded paid leave. Previously, Walz served as a U.S. Congressman from 2007 to 2019. Of course, Walz also spent many years as a public school teacher, where he was the faculty advisor of his school's Gay-Straight Alliance as well as the football coach.
